I used to do a block of cardio at the gym then 15-20 min weights but now I’ve changed to a HIIT circuit that incorporates both and I really think that’s working a lot better- I posted the plan of it a few days ago so if you scroll down my page you will find it :)

I’ve been doing the 5:2 diet which is 500 calorie fasts twice a week and in theory you can eat normal ‘2000’ days on your fives but I generally keep it healthy 1200-1500 and go to the gym 3/4 times a week. However I’ve been on holiday, took breaks and had bad days during that time. It’s not a smooth journey of constant lost there’s been slight gains and being stuck along way.
January- April this year. 20lbs now gone. I’m now the lightest I’ve been since I was about 12 years old. Photos on the left are mortifying but I’m so proud of how hard I’ve worked for this. 9lbs until my GW! This is my before and during.
