Anonymous asked: I just saw your before and after photos and WOW. You are completely AMAZING and inspiring! I have to lose 40 pounds in the next 4-5 months and I was wondering how you managed to lose the weight so quickly. What did you eat? How much exercise and what kind of exercise did you do? How long did you exercise? That type of stuff. If you could share, I'd really appreciate it. Like I said, you are absolutely amazing and so so so inspiring. I hope you're as proud of yourself as I am of you! Keep it up!

Thanks so much. I do 5:2 diet- it’s not for everyone but it’s quite popular in the UK right now and it’s worked for me. Just working out and being healthy wasn’t doing it for me. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week doing a mix of cardio and weights. Ive changed to HIIT which saves me time and seems to be working at dropping fat fast. Do what you can- if you can’t get to a gym I’ve lost weight before just walking, doing youtube videos or even using a wii. Little changes like going for no milk in coffee or using 0% cal cooking spray drops calories without even noticing. Sweet potato for normal potato. Turkey for chicken. That kind of thing :) good luck!! Try not to focus on numbers or get too down if it doesn’t come off as fast- this has been difficult for me ups and downs. Measure your self and stay positive- think of the long term goals and find something to motivate you.
Buy a lovely dress in a size down and work way into clothes. Just today i fit into a pair of trousers I bought at Christmas and couldn’t get past my thighs. It’s a great feeling and a way to see changes without being too focused on the scale. Hope this helps.
